Vi discontinued Rs 99 plan for Haryana circle while modified benefits for other circle

Vodafone Idea (Vi) has discontinued the Rs 99 plan for the circle of Haryana and modified the benefits for the other circles. It has modified the benefits of the plan for Mumbai, Delhi, and Gujarat in which the company has reduced the validity of the plan from 28 days to 15 days in these circles. Vi is trying its best hard to hold users by introducing new exciting plans whereas, on the other side, it’s also trying to boost its average revenue per user(ARPU) by revising the benefits of plans.

Now Vi users in Haryana will have to look for a plan that is above Rs 100 because below Rs 100 there was only one plan which has been removed. Vi is not the first company to do it because Airtel has also done it earlier by removing the Rs 99 plan for users and leaving the Rs 155 plan as the cheapest plan for the users. Though Vi is the third largest telecom service provider in India but still due to lack of funds and equipment they have not launched 5G service for their users yet. This move is certainly going to bump up the ARPU but marginally.
