It was expected that the brand might soon launch this device but there was official confirmation on the launch of this device.
Well, Vivo has finally launched the Vivo Y17S smartphone in the Indian market today at a starting price of Rs.11,499.

Vivo Y17S: Pricing & Availability
Vivo Y17S arrives in two color variants- Glitter Purple and Mystic Green. The device is already available for purchase on the Vivo e-store. It comes with two storage configurations:
- 4GB+64GB- Rs.11,499
- 4GB+128GB- Rs.12,499
The company is also offering Zero down payment on selected partners, up to 12 months no cost EMI facility, and a Vivo V Shield protection plan.
Vivo Y17S: Specifications
The smartphone sports a 6.56inch LCD display that offers 1612×720 screen resolution and 840 nits brightness. It is powered by a MediaTek Helio G85 processor that is paired with 4GB RAM and up to 128GB internal storage. It also comes with 4GB Extended RAM technology. It runs on Funtouch OS 13.
The device is backed by a 5000mAh battery and packs up a dual rear camera set up of 50MP+2MP. While on the front it features an 8MP selfie camera. Other features include- 4G connectivity, Bluetooth 5.0, side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a USB Type-C port, face wake, 2.5D curvature, and super night mode.
