WhatsApp officially announced for the MacOS, brings new features and layout

Meta-owned WhatsApp App that was introduced earlier this year for Windows desktop has now been announced for MacOS. It has been designed to be familiar to Mac users and get work done easily on a large screen. Features accompanying this new WhatsApp are almost like what we get to see in its Android, iOS, and Windows versions.

As per the announcement, “users can make group calls from their Mac for the first time, connecting with up to eight people on video calls and up to 32 people on audio calls”. And users can also “join a group call after it’s started, see your call history, and choose to receive incoming call notifications even when the app is closed”.

The Mac users can also share files by dragging and dropping into chat and can also view chat history as we get to see in other versions.

If you are a Mac user and want to download it, follow these steps:-

Visit the WhatsApp website.
There you will see the download option in green colour, tap on it.
You will see three options for download: Android, iOS, and Mac. There you need to tap on the download option under Mac.
As soon as you tap on it the download will begin.
Thereafter just click on the app and log in to your account.
