Vivo V29e officially confirmed to launch on 28th August in India

Vivo is poised to captivate the Indian audience with its upcoming smartphone, the Vivo V29e. While Vivo is releasing this series in various regions across the world, it is highly anticipated that the Vivo V29 5G will also make its way to India in the near future. Vivo has now provided official confirmation through its X (formerly Twitter) handle that the V29e is set to launch in India on 28th August at 12 PM IST. The smartphone has already been listed on the brand’s official website and Flipkart.

Here is what we know so far

Previously, this enchanting device made its appearance on various platforms including the IMEI Database, BIS Certification, Geekbench, and Bluetooth SIG, which collectively provided us with insights into its potential specifications. According to the Geekbench listing, it was revealed that the device would be driven by a Qualcomm SOC, although the specific processor name remained undisclosed. Subsequently, it was leaked to be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695. In addition to the processor information, it was disclosed that the device would come equipped with Funtouch OS 3, based on Android 13, right out of the box, coupled with a minimum of 8GB of RAM. The Bluetooth certification further indicated that the device would support version 5.1 of the technology.

It has also been confirmed that the device will share the same camera features as its recently launched counterpart, the Vivo V29 5G. This includes a centrally positioned punch-hole 3D display with a gentle curvature of 58.7 degrees on its front, boasting an impressive 120Hz refresh rate. Particularly noteworthy is the fact that within the price range of Rs 25,000-30,000, the device is being marketed as the thinnest phone with a 3D curved screen. The smartphone will have a slim, sleek, and light design with a 0.757cm ultra slim body,2.29mm one-piece narrow frame, and 180.5g weight.

In terms of its camera capabilities, the Vivo V29e is set to feature a 50MP front-facing camera enhanced with eye autofocus technology, ensuring the capture of sharp and finely detailed selfies. On the flip side, the smartphone has officially been confirmed to house a 64MP primary rear camera, supported by Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) technology, facilitating steady and improved low-light photography.
