OnePlus will soon launch its first foldable smartphone OnePlus Open in the market. A tipster just recently mentioned in his X post that the company has officially announced the phone. Further, he mentioned that it could be launched in the market on October 19th.
Fortunately, its pre-production units’ visuals have also been leaked, giving an idea of its characteristic design. For the first time this smartphone has been spotted in someone’s hand and that too before its official launch.
Just recently a video has been posted by a viralbhayani named Instagram account in which Anushka Sharma can be using a foldable smartphone. And based on the earlier leaked visuals we can say that this is none other than the OnePlus Open smartphone. She can be seen flaunting the phone’s rear side and then unfolding it.
This suggests that OnePlus wants to keep the sensation high about its first foldable smartphone for the Indian market. And it won’t be wrong to say either that this also suggests the imminent launch in the market that the company has not announced yet.
Expected specs
This smartphone can come with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor paired with up to 16 GB RAM and 256 GB internal storage. It is likely to feature a 7.8″ inner foldable display and a 6.3″ cover display.
As far as it’s camera is concerned it can be launched with a triple camera setup arranged in a circular camera module. It can sport a 48 MP camera and a 64 MP telephoto camera on the rear side. It can be backed by a 4,800 mAh battery supporting 67W fast charge feature.
