After Twitter now Meta will charge you for verified user badge but what would be the perks

There were a number of speculations that were hovering around a subscription plan for verified users on Meta similar to Twitter. Now, this has been confirmed by notification on Instagram Help Centre. The Meta Verified is available for individual or professional profiles but not for business profiles.

The website has listed these perks for the users who will subscribe to the Meta verified-

A verified badge
Customer support for most common issues
Active impersonation monitoring
Prioritization for Meta Verified profiles in other people’s comments.
Recommendations in the Explore page and reels on the Instagram
Exclusive stickers in your Instagram stories.

There are some community guidelines that you will have to abide by to have a verified badge. The price or charge for this is $11.99/month for the web and $14.99/month for iOS. It looks like musk has a great influence on Mark, which is why he has also launched the same scheme but at a higher price.

As per the post shared by Meta head Mark, this service is first going to be launched in Australia and New Zealand. Mark also said that soon this facility will be available in Other countries also.

Musk’s decision to make Twitter blue tick cost $8 was initially not acceptable but now it can be seen that the other social media platforms are also heading in the same direction.
