Samsung is reportedly working on the Galaxy Tab A9 series of mid-range tablets. The lineup is likely to include two models, such as the Galaxy Tab A9 and Tab A9+ 5G. While the A9+ will offer 5G connectivity, the Tab A9 is said to be a 4G LTE device. The latter has now appeared on the Geekbench benchmarking site to reveal some of its key specifications.
As can be seen in the above screengrab, the Galaxy Tab A9 is powered by a chipset that includes six CPU cores working at 2.00GHz and two CPU cores working at 2.20GHz. The SoC also includes Mali-G57 MC2 graphics. These specifications reveal that the device is powered by the Helio G99 chipset.
The Galaxy Tab A9’s Geekbench listing further reveals that it is equipped with 4 GB of RAM and runs on Android 13. In the single-core and multi-core tests of Geekbench, the device scored 735 points in the single-core test and 1766 points in the multi-core test.
As per other reports, the Galaxy Tab A9 will be equipped with a 5,100mAh battery that supports 15W fast charging. The other details of the tablet are under wraps.
As far as the Galaxy Tab A9+ 5G is concerned, it is said to be equipped with a Snapdragon 695 chip and 4 GB of RAM. It will likely come with other features, such as Android 13 and a 7,040mAh battery that supports 15W charging. It appears that the Galaxy Tab A9 series will debut later this month or in October in different markets.
