OPPO has officially confirmed that it will announce the OPPO A2 Pro 5G on Sept. 15 in China. The below poster, released by the brand, also confirms the design and key specifications of the device.
As can be seen, the OPPO A2 Pro 5G has a round camera module on the back. The image showcases the Vast Black and Desert Brown colour variants of the device. The brown variant can be seen sporting a leather back.
In addition, OPPO confirmed that the OPPO A2 Pro 5G has the Dimensity 7050 chipset, 12 GB of RAM, 12 GB of virtual RAM, and 67W fast charging. During the pre-sale and initial sales period, which spans from Sept. 15 to Oct. 8, customers who purchase the OPPO A2 Pro will be entitled to a four-year warranty specifically covering the battery.
This warranty ensures that the battery’s maximum capacity will be assessed by OPPO’s officially authorised service experience centre within four years from the date the service becomes effective. If, during this four-year period, the battery’s capacity falls below 80 percent, users are eligible for a one-time, cost-free battery replacement.
OPPO A2 Pro 5G launch date
Earlier this month, the device appeared in China Telecom’s product library, where all its major specifications were revealed. The listing revealed that it has a 6.7-inch OLED FHD+ curved-edge display, Android 13, an 8-megapixel front camera, a 64-megapixel (main) + 2-megapixel (depth / macro) dual-camera system, a Dimensity 7050 chip, up to 12 GB of RAM, 256 GB / 512 GB of storage, and a 5,000mAh battery. It also revealed that it will have a starting price of 2,099 Yuan (~$288) and come in another shade called Dusk Cloud Purple.
