Elon Musk makes major decision after taking over the Twitter

Elon Musk was planning to buy Twitter for a long period of time now, and as of 27Th October 2022, Elon Musk signed the final deal and became the new owner of Twitter.

The new journey of Twitter started with some major decisions like the firing of CEO Parag Agarwal, Chief financial officer Ned Segal, and Vijay Gadde, the company’s policy chief.

After sealing the deal of $44 billion for Twitter, Elon Musk tweeted and spoke, “the bird is freed.”

Elon Musk made a tweet at 3:03 am (GMT +5:30) about the firing of the Twitter Data engineers Rahul Ligma, and Daniel Jhonson.

After firing all the top members of Twitter, Elon Musk decided to create a panel that will decide whether the content posted on Twitter is appropriate or not.

On 28Th October 2022, at 11:48 PM Elon Musk made a tweet about this panel by saying, “Twitter will be forming a content moderation council with widely diverse viewpoints. No major content decisions or account reinstatements will happen before that council convenes.”

After reading this tweet many people responded in a positive way and thought that this is a great decision by Musk.

According to this tweet by Elon Musk, there will be monitoring of what type of content is being added to the platform.

This is a great action taken by the new owner, as it will kill the content posted by the bots.
