The Chinese smartphone and other electronics brand OnePlus is nearing the launch of the OnePlus Pad Go in the Indian market. Though the brand has not revealed the launch date yet but lately it has been teasing the key specs of this upcoming device increasing the excitement of users.

The company has today confirmed that the OnePlus Pad Go will be backed by an 8000mAh long-lasting battery that supports 33W SUPERVOOC fast charging. The brand has also mentioned that the pricing details of the OnePlus Pad Go in the Indian market will be revealed on October 6.

OnePlus Pad Go: Specifications

As previously confirmed, OnePlus Pad Go will sport an 11.35 inch wide 2.4K resolution display, featuring Dolby Atmos tuned Quad speakers. It is also confirmed to boast an aspect ratio of 7:5. The OnePlus Pad Go tablet will come with TÜV Rheinland Certified low blue light technology for eye care. This tablet is confirmed to pack up to 8GB RAM and up to 256 GB internal storage.

The launch page of this upcoming tablet is already made live on the company’s official website, Amazon and Flipkart which indicates that the device will be available for purchase on these platforms.

The South Korean tech company, Samsung, has officially unveiled its latest FE series devices and the four newly launched devices will be made available soon, this month itself.

The newly unveiled devices, as such and within the Galaxy ecosystem, will be offering its users the best features to maximize both their creativity and productivity.

Galaxy S23 FE

The latest Galaxy S23 FE smartphone is pre-loaded with the Android 13 operating system and its chipset is made using advanced 4nm processing technology. Two storage variants will be made available – 8GB/128GB & 8GB/256GB. To add, the device will also receive four OS updates and five years of security patch updates.

The device is also featuring a Dynamic AMOLED display panel with a screen size of 6.4″. The display has an FHD+ screen resolution and supports a super smooth, adaptive 120Hz refresh rate(varying between 60Hz and 120Hz).

Coming to the cameras, the smartphone has a pro-grade rear camera unit sporting a 50MP main camera, a 12MP ultra-wide camera, and an 8MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom capability. At the front, the device also has a 10MP selfie camera too.

Regarding its battery, the device packs a 4,500 mAh battery supporting a 25W fast charge feature, with which the device can be charged to up to 50% in 30 minutes. Moreover, the device also supports Fast Wireless Charging 2.0 and Wireless PowerShare features as well.

Speaking about its other features, it has a dimension of 76.5 X 158 X 8.2 mm and weighs only 209 grams. It is a 5G device and will support 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G network connectivity. The device will also be supporting Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 wireless connectivity as well. The Galaxy S23 FE also has an IP68-rated water-resistant body and comes with security features like Samsung Knox and Samsung Knox Vault.

Samsung’s Galaxy S23 FE smartphone will be made available in selected markets on the 5th of October 2023, 2023.

Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Tab S9 FE+

Both the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ tablets are equipped with an octa-core processor and feature 10.9″ and 12.4″ LCD display screens, respectively. The devices will also be supporting a refresh rate of up to 90Hz.

The device also has the Android 13 operating system and just like the S23 FE smartphone, the two latest FE tablet devices have also been assured to receive four years of OS updates and 5 years of security patch updates.

The two tablets will also have two storage variants. The Galaxy Tab S9 FE will arrive in 6GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB storage options, whereas the Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ device will have 8GB/128GB and 12GB/256GB storage models.

About the cameras, both the models have an 8MP main camera at the rear and a front-facing camera of 12MP. The Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ tablet, apart from the main camera, also has an 8MP ultrawide camera at the back.

The two devices will also be backed by 8,000 mAh and 10,090 mAh battery, respectively, and will support 45W wired fast charging. To note, the 45W power adapter will be sold separately and won’t be available with the devices. The tablet devices also has a QC2.0 & AFC compatible wireless charging feature as well.

Other features of the devices are IP68 rated water resistant body, 5G network connectivity(for supported models), Wi-Fi 6, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 5.3, dual speakers by AKG with Dolby Atmos support, S-Pen support, and Samsung Knox. Accessories available with the devices include an S-Pen, S-Pen Creator Edition, Book Cover Keyboard, Book Cover Keyboard Slim, Smart Book Cover and an Outdoor Cover.

Dimension-wise the Galaxy Tab S9 FE will have a size of 165.8 x 254.3 x 6.5 mm, with the 5G model weighing 524 grams and the Wi-Fi only model having a weight of 523 grams. The Galaxy Tab S9 FE+, on the other hand, has a size of 185.4 x 285.4 x 6.5 mm, with weights of 627 grams and 628 grams respectively for the Wi-Fi only and 5G models.

The Galaxy Tab S9 FE series devices will only be made available on the 10th of October 2023, five days later after the availability of the Galaxy S23 FE smartphone.

Galaxy Buds FE

The Galaxy Buds FE earbuds has a dimensions of 17.1 x 19.2 x 22.2 mm weighing 5.6 grams each, and the charging case will be having a dimension of 50.0 x 27.7 x 50.0 mm with a weight of 40 grams. The device has a 1-way speaker along with three microphones on each of its earbuds.

Coming to its connectivity features, it supports Bluetooth 5.2 and Auto Switch. The device is also compatible with audio codecs like AAC and SBC, and also Scalable (Samsung Proprietary). The device is also equipped with sensors such as a proximity sensor, hall sensor, and also has touch controls. It can be paired with devices with an Android version of 8.0 or higher, and also with more than 1.5GB of RAM.

About its battery backup, the earbuds each have 60 mAh batteries, and the charging dock is equipped with a 479 mAh battery. With ANC turned on, the earbuds will be able to offer a battery life of up to 6 hours(expandable to about 21 hours), and while not using the ANC feature, users can get a battery life of up to 8.5 hours(expandable to about 30 hours).

The Galaxy Buds FE earbuds will also be made available on the 10th of October 2023, along with the Galaxy Tab S9 FE tablet devices.

Vivo V29 series: Pricing & Availability

Vivo V29 arrives in three color variants- Himalayan Blue, Majestic Red, and Space Black. It is available in two storage configurations- the 8GB+128GB variant is priced at Rs.32,999 while the 12GB+256GB variant is priced at Rs.36,999.

V29 Pro also features a triple rear camera setup that consists of a 50MP primary camera with OIS support, a 12MP portrait camera, and an 8MP wide-angle camera. Oppo Find N3 Flip made its debut in China in the month of August while yesterday the smartphone brand confirmed that the device will be launching soon in the Indian market too. As per a recent update from a Chinese tipster on the Weibo platform, the upcoming Redmi K70 series and the Redmi Note 13 Turbo devices from Xiaomi will soon be having their launch.

This update comes from the tipster – Digital Chat Station, who has shared on the microblogging platform – Weibo, that the upcoming Redmi K70 series as well as the Redmi Note 13 Turbo smartphones will likely be launched very soon. Some of the specifications of the upcoming devices have also been shared online.

The Redmi K70 series devices, which are to include the Redmi K70, K70 Pro, and K70E smartphones, are expected to have their launch by the month of December 2023, this year, and the devices are likely to use a 2K resolution flat display panel with narrow bezels and a metal middle frame. The devices are also probably going to come equipped with 5000+ mAh batteries with 100W fast charge support, as reported.

Regarding their processors, there is still an unclarity about the chipset that will power the devices, however, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, and the Dimensity 9300 chipsets are expected to be used within the K70 series smartphones. It has also been mentioned that with the launch of the Xiaomi 14 series devices, proper clarity will be available about the processors.

The Note 13 Turbo smartphone of Redmi’s latest Note 13 series, is likely to be launched half a year later, at the least, and the device can be expected to arrive with a sub-flagship processor, a 1.5K or 2K display screen, a larger battery with the 100W fast charge support, and many more. The Bharat NCAP will be activated later this year. Ahead of this, many vehicles are voluntarily taking safety tests as part of the #SaferCarsForIndia campaign. In the latest developments, the Hyundai Verna bagged a top Global NCAP rating in terms of adult and child occupant safety.

The Global NCAP test assessed the Hyundai Verna in its most basic passive safety features first. This includes testing the vehicle’s safety with 6 airbags and ESC. The structure was unstable; however, the model was marked with a five-star rating for adult and child occupants’ safety.

Apple’s iOS 17.1 Beta 2 has been made available to some of the brand’s iPhone devices. A few changes and updates have also been brought to the second beta version.

The Cupertino-based tech giant, Apple, officially announced the iOS 17 operating system at the special launch event conducted on the 12th of September 2023, last month, and days later, on the 18th of September, the brand unveiled its latest operating system. The company also revealed a lot about its features, including the devices that will be eligible to receive the iOS 17 operating system.

Now, the beta 2 version of the OS has been rolled out, and a few changes have been brought with respect to its first beta version.

The first notable change is the return of the new ringtones that were taken away in the iOS 17 beta 1. For iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro, and other newer models, the brand has also introduced a few new settings for the Standby mode, which will enable users to customize how the screen of the iPhone device should look when it is turned on and off.

The previous issue in the Home widget where the text extended beyond the view frame has also been fixed in the new beta 2 version of the iOS 17 operating system. Sadly, the Journal app is still not available on the beta 2 version as well and might be delayed a little longer.

To add, the double tap feature has been fixed and is currently working on the watchOS 10.1 beta 2 for Apple’s Watch Ultra 2 and Series 9 devices.

Nothing about the custom UI has been revealed by Vivo, but they have mentioned that it will offer a “smoother experience than ever”.

To note, this update comes after the brand made the Funtouch OS 14 based on the Android 14 preview program available to the X90 Pro smartphone last month, in September 2023. The eligible devices list or the roll-out timeline has also not been revealed yet, however, to a user’s query, the brand replied that once the update is made available on their respective devices(Vivo or iQOO), users will receive a notification regarding its availability.

To add, OnePlus, another leading Chinese smartphone maker, has also released its OxygenOS 14 custom UI based on the Android 14 operating system recently, with some interesting new features and a propriety platform called “Trinity Engine“. OnePlus has also confirmed that its flagship 11 smartphone will be receiving the OxygenOS 14 stable update first.

Vivo’s Funtouch OS 14 first look has also been revealed online by a Twitter/X user, and some of its features have been pointed out. The latest custom UI will have a new control center, similar to what we have seen on OPPO’s ColorOS, along with a new weather widget, and a new Funtouch OS 14 logo. A new battery page is also part of the latest custom UI.
