Delaware rejects Musk’s request to delay the hearing, says he may use it in his arguments

After Peter Zatko’s complaint that Twitter has misled the regulators about its poor cybersecurity defences , Elon Musk’s request to postpone the Twitter trial’s beginning has now been rejected by the Delaware court.

Delaware has rejected his plea to postpone the trial that is supposed to be held on October 17.

This was brought up less than a week after Musk’s advocate asked the court on September 2 to postpone the hearing due to further discussions with a complainant on the microblogging site.

The Chancellor of the Delaware Court of Chancery, Kathaleen McCormick refused to push the hearing date, claiming that Elon may use the claims made by Zatko, Twitter’s former head of security, in his arguments in that case.

For those who don’t know, the hearing is soon going to be conducted to resolve the deadlock between the SpaceX CEO and Twitter because of the former’s refusal on the fact that he has materialised his $44 billion acquisition deal.

It was earlier reported that alleged person Elon Musk has been trying his best to get out of the matter and his previous comments, including bots and fake accounts, were nothing but a cover-up for his actions.
