Google had re-oriented the company as such 6 years ago around AI and since then has focused on bringing developments to its AI systems.
Now Google has introduced a new Conversational AI service called Bard, which is currently being powered by Google’s Language Model for Dialogue Applications(LaMDA) and will be made available to the public in the coming weeks.

Google Introduces its Conversational AI Service, Bard
Alphabet Inc. owned Google had introduced its next generation language and conversation capabilities with with one of its latest AI technologies LaMDA and now has introduced Bard, the companies latest experimental conversational AI service powered by LaMDA.
The service has already been open to testers and will be made available to the public in the coming weeks after testing its new service.
Bard is designed in such a manner that it will combine with the information available on the internet inorder to create fresh and high quality responses.
As mentioned, in its initial stage, the AI service will be powered by Google’s light weight model of LaMDA which would allow Google only to use less of its computing power and will help the company in expanding the service to more users. This will in turn increase the feedbacks the company would be getting which will be used in improving their service.
BERT was one of the companies first Transformer models and later the Google had introduced MUM which was even more powerful than BERT. LaMDA, PaLM, Imagen and MusicLM are the company’s new AI technologies all made to interact and understand more about the intricacies in human language and provide much more accurate responses.
The latest conversational AI service, Bard has also been introduced with this in mind. With Bard, people will be able to receive answers to insightful questions that are not like factual questions which has only one particular answer.
