PIB fact check flags news of free recharge from government fake, asks users to cross check

Free recharge from the government
The Press Information Bureau(PIB) is one of the nodal agencies of the Government of India which disseminate information related to policies, programs, and initiatives and also flags fake news regarding such policies or programs. Recent news that has been flagged fake by the PIB fact check Twitter account is “free recharge news”. According to this, the Modi government is giving free recharge worth Rs 239 that comes with a validity of 28 days to lure voters.
