Dharmana Prasada Rao, Minister for Revenue, has said that the Y.S. Jagann Mohan Reddy government is prioritizing on improving the sports infrastructure in every district.
The district has produced many great sporting personalities, which also includes Karanam Malleswari, the Olympics medal for India, said Dharmana while attending the sports day celebration in Government Degree College as Chief Guest.
Moreover, the physical and mental fitness were also important for players to win at international events, said senior physician Kutikuppala Suryarao, who was a special guest. The diet is also equally essential for the sportspersons, he added on.
G. Balamuralidhar had also graced the event, he is a National volleyball player.
