In terms of overall specifications, the Xiaomi 13 Pro is the better smartphone device, but the Vivo X80 Pro smartphone is still a tough competitor.
Regarding the performance, Vivo’s X80 Pro smartphone comes in two processor variants, one with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset and the other with the Dimensity 9000 chipset, and comparing the performance, the Xiaomi 13 Pro powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset offers better performance than the Vivo X80 Pro smartphone.
Regarding the displays, the Vivo X80 Pro has a slightly better LTPO3 AMOLED display with a slightly larger screen size of 6.78″. In comparison, the Xiaomi 13 Pro features a 6.73″ LTPO AMOLED display. Both devices have the same screen resolution and support the same refresh rate.
Again for the cameras, the Vivo smartphone has a 50MP quad camera setup while the Xiaomi device has a 50.3MP triple camera setup. Vivo’s smartphone sports an additional 8MP periscope telephoto camera, which the Xiaomi device lacks, along with 12MP telephoto and 48MP ultrawide cameras. However, Xiaomi’s 13 Pro smartphone offers a slightly better 50.3MP main camera, a 50MP better telephoto camera and a 50MP better ultrawide camera. Both devices have the same 32MP front-facing camera.
Coming to the battery backups, Xiaomi’s 13 Pro offers a better battery backup of 4820 mAh while the X80 Pro smartphone from Vivo has a 4700 mAh battery. The Xiaomi device also offers better-charging specs compared to the other device. It supports 120W wired, 50W wireless and 10W reverse wireless charging features. The Vivo X80 Pro comes with a slower 80W wired and the same 50W wireless fast charging features. The smartphone only has reverse-wired charging support.
So, as mentioned, both smartphones compete greatly in terms of the specifications offered, but when taking the overall specifications, the more recently launched Xiaomi 13 Pro smartphone has turned out to be the best smartphone in this comparison.
