Call of Duty to Come on Nintendo: Microsoft Signs Legal Agreement with Nintendo

Reports now reveal that Microsoft has signed a 10 year long legal agreement with the Japanese video game company, Nintendo to bring the Call of Duty to Nintendo gaming consoles as well.

After the $69 billion acquisition by Activision Blizzard, Microsoft has been having a hard time trying to prove itself to agencies which includes the Federal Trade Commission of the United States that the company is not involved in any sort of monopolistic activities. The company has also went forward in taking the decision to promise the Call of Duty to other companies like Sony and Nintendo.

Now the current President and Vice-Chair of Microsoft, Brad Smith has took it to the microblogging platform, Twitter to inform that the company has signed a decade long agreement with Nintendo to bring the Call of Duty game to Nintendo as well, the same day it gets released on Xbox.

The company has also promised that the game won’t lose any of its contents and will arrive with all the features and with full content parity. However it is also to be noted that Nintendo’s gaming consoles doesn’t have the proper hardware to run games like Call of Duty, and is likely to bring it on the cloud based gaming seen on Nintendo Switch. If this is not the case, Nintendo will have to bring some serious improvements to its gaming consoles.

With this action taken by Microsoft, fears regarding the Call of Duty, a game which is consistently on the top of all sales charts, becoming an exclusive only to Xbox will be gone. This action might also take away the allegations against Microsoft regarding its monopolistic position as well.
