Cross-brand app data transfer feature introduced mutually by Xiaomi, Vivo, and OPPO on their smartphones

Three of the most famous Chinese smartphone makers in the past had collaborated in bringing out a file transfer feature among their respective smartphones called “Peer to Peer Transmission Alliance” to enable faster data transfer between their devices. The collaboration was with a vision to bring out a file transfer method that is similar to the Air-drop feature that Apple devices have, which will enable its users to transfer files of all sorts in a much more faster and seamless manner without relying on any of the third party application used commonly for such purposes that are mostly unstable and might even cause loss of data.

Vivo in an official press release had also mentioned that the feature will use the phone’s Bluetooth connectivity for faster pairing and the Wi-Fi peer-to-peer technology for transferring the data. A data transferring speed of upto 20MB per second can also be achieved as a result and the best part is no internet network will be required for the purpose. The battery consumption will also be at a minimum.

Based on a recent update, we have come to know that the three brands have also now added the support to transfer app data as well while migrating from a smartphone of one brand to the other in addition to all the other system data including photos, contacts, and other such files.

With the app data transfer feature, migrating between devices will become much more easily without the headache of any data loss, a usual scenario in such a process.
