Nokia collaborating with the German i.safe MOBILE GmbH has unveiled two new well-tested and well-made industrial smartphones for users working in industries like oil, gas, mining, or the chemical industry.

Nokia HHRA501x and Nokia IS540.1 Unveiled
Both these smartphones are 5G devices and feature a rugged design to withstand any type of damage that may occur. The devices can be used in ATEX Zone 1 areas where there is a chance of explosions and also in ATEX Zone 2 areas, which are less hazardous areas. For better connectivity, the devices also support all the necessary frequency bands as well.
Apart from this, Nokia is also offering essential applications which include Nokia Industrial Device Management, Nokia Team Communications compliant with 3GPP, and Nokia Network Digital Twin Extension to Android devices. Moreover, both smartphones have received multiple certifications, confirming that they are secure and functional to be used.

Only the specifications(a few) of the Nokia IS540.1 smartphone are available as of now. The device is powered by Qualcomm’s QCM6490 octa-core processor, which is said to offer a similar performance compared to the performance offered by the Snapdragon 778 chipset. The smartphone is also coupled with a RAM of 8GB and an internal storage of 128 GB. It also sports a 48MP auto-focus rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera too. A 4400 mAh battery is also backed within the device.
Once the two devices are launched, the full specifications of the smartphones, including their price points, will be revealed.
