American Psycho to now get the form of a comic series, would adapt the 2000 film story and also act as a sequel for the same

American Psycho, the popular satirical horror film would now get the form of a comic series, according to recent updates. Twitter handle, @DiscussingFilm mentioned the same in their recent Twitter update as well.

The American Psycho comic series will make its way into the comic world on October 11, 2023.

The upcoming series would be following the classic Patrick Bateman story of the 2000 film. Alongside, a modern psychopath, a social media-obsessed millennial named Charlie would also be incorporated into the comic series.

According to reports, the comic book series will consist of four issues and will serve as a sequel to the tale. Sumerians will publish the comic series.

Reports have further mentioned that the new arc includes the modern psychopath Charlie going on a downward spiral filled with violence. Charlie would supposedly create havoc of bloodbath as she leaves a trail of bodies on her way while trying to discover the truth of her dark nature.

The comic series is written by Michael Calero. Piotr Kowalski has made the artwork and the comic series is coloured by Brad Simpson.
