Hyderabad will be the first Indian city to host FIA Formula E World Championship on February 11
An exciting news for all the Indian racing game fans announced by Anand Mahindra . You might have enjoyed racing game events held around the world and now finally India is going to host it’s first racing event in Hyderabad .
On 3 February , Anand Mahindra made this big announcement on his twitter account . Thanking Telangana minister K.T Rama Rao and title sponsor Greenko for making this event possible , he announced that Hyderabad will be becoming the first Indian city to host FIA Formula E World Championship on February 11 , 2023 . He also requested all the Indians to cheer for team Mahindra .

At 30 Days to go countdown event held in Mumbai on Thursday , Telangana minister Rama Rao mentioned that they have competed with some of the best cities across the world for hosting the championship and eventually Hyderabad was selected . He considered this as an achievement for not Hyderabad or Telangana but India as a country .
According to The Hindu , a senior official involved in the operations of the race told them,” The first batch of the cars has reached the city and they are currently parked at the airport . They will undergo inspection , and get the required customs clearance along with other formalities before being taken into their respective garages in the circuit . It’s been hassle-free and we are looking forward to hosting a successful Formula E event next week . The second set of cars will arrive soon .”
2023 Hyderabad E-prix , accelerated by Greenko is being hosted by Ace Nxt gen in association with Telangana Government and Formula E . The race taking place will be the fourth race of Season 9 of Formula E . It will be held at Hyderabad Street Circuit located alongside Hussain Sagar Lake . There will be total 11 teams participating in this event with 22 cars including some of the top racing companies . About the tickets for this event , there will be total 22,500 tickets for the event and you can book them online .
In a press release issued by organizers they said , “ The world’s fastest , lightest , most powerful and efficient electric race car the Gen3 is coming to Hyderabad on February 11 for the event.” Along with this we will get to witness top racing teams like McLaren , Maserati , Jaguar , Porsche and Mahindra . So be ready to witness this grand event in Hyderabad and cheer for your team .
