Google Officially Teases its October Launch Event: There’s More Than What We Expected

At the end of last month, in August, it was revealed via an invitation sent by Google that the brand is planning to conduct an event to unveil its latest Pixel series devices and now, the brand has officially confirmed it by sharing a teaser video. The shared teaser video further reveals that Google has more to unveil than what was expected.

Here’s more about it.

“Gr8 things are coming”

The official teaser video has been shared via the brand’s Twitter handle(@madebygoogle), and it has been mentioned that “Gr8(Great) things are coming”. The teaser video also features the number “8” in it, and this could mean that the brand will be making 8 exciting announcements at the event. The images of four(or maybe three) devices can also be spotted in the teaser video, and the launch as revealed before will be conducted on the 4th of October, next month, at 10 AM Eastern Time(ET).

As you may have noticed, the Pixel 8 series devices which includes the Pixel 8 and 8 Pro smartphones are going to be unveiled at the event. We are also able to see a Pixel Watch and Pixel Buds in the teaser video. It should also be noted that all of the devices are seemingly spotted in the Porcelain colour.

The Pixel 8 Pro smartphone is confirmed to arrive in Porcelain colour among three other colour choices(Bay, Obsidian & Mint), and the Pixel Buds Pro was recently tipped to come in Porcelain and Sky Blue colours. The Pixel Watch 2 has also been reported to be in the works. These might be the three devices that have appeared in the teaser video.

Just to add, in the Indian market, the Pixel 8 series will be having its pre-orders starting on the 5th of October, one day after its launch, and will be sold via the Flipkart shopping website. Previously, the storage options, colour choices and the European prices of the two upcoming smartphones were exclusively revealed by us as well.

We are less than a month away from the exciting launch event and we can expect more updates to arrive in the coming few days, which is to shed more light on the upcoming devices and about what Google has for us in the pipeline. Do stay tuned until then.
