Microsoft Surface Go 4 Unveiled: To be Made Available Next Month Exclusively for Businesses

The latest Microsoft Surface Go 4 2-in-1 laptop device has been unveiled at the recently conducted Microsoft event. The device is to be made available starting next month, but won’t be made available to consumers. It will be a business-exclusive product.

Microsoft’s Surface Go 4 is powered by the Intel Processor N200 and is also integrated with Intel’s own UHD Graphics. It runs on the Windows 11 Pro operating system and has a RAM of 8GB. Three internal storage options will also be available – 64GB, 128GB & 256GB.

For its display, it has a PixelSense display with a screen size of 10.5″ and an aspect ratio of 3:2. The display also supports 10-point multi-touch and has a screen resolution of 1920 x 1280 pixels, with a pixel density of 220 PPI. It also has a contrast ratio of 1500:1 and is protected with the Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

The latest Surface device also features a 5MP front-facing camera and an 8MP camera at its rear. Both the cameras can capture 1080p HD videos and the front cam supports Windows Hello face authentication. Enhanced dual far-field Studio Mics and 2W stereo speakers with Dolby Audio support are also part of the device.

Connectivity options on the device include Wi-Fi 6 802.11ax, Bluetooth 5.1, and NFC. Other connectivity ports are a USB type-C 3.1 port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a Surface Connect port, a Surface Type Cover port, and a MicroSDCX card reader.

About its battery life, on a typical usage with Wi-Fi connected, the device will be able to offer a total battery life of up to 12.5 hours to its users. It weighs 521 grams and has a total dimension of 245 x 175 x 8.3 mm.

As mentioned above, Microsoft’s Surface Go 4 will only be made available for businesses and other frontline workers. It will be made available starting next month, on the 3rd of October 2023, with a starting price of $579.
